OUR ROOTS
Our story began in 1990 at Food Spot Market, a small neighborhood shop on Tucson’s south side. Inside that humble store, our parents, Vo Ma and Tuyen Nguyen, built a beloved Chinese food deli that became a local favorite. It was there they taught us the values that would guide our lives — resilience, hard work, and the power of family and community.
THE SEEDS​
My brother Hien Ma, now CEO of Miss Saigon Restaurants, transformed those values into a culinary vision — introducing Tucson to the authentic soul of Vietnamese cuisine. Vinh Ma, our Director of Construction & Development, brought that vision to life through masterful design and craftsmanship.
Eight and nine years their junior, I learned by watching — absorbing every detail, solving unseen problems, and dreaming of what could come next.
The Bloom
When the long-vacant 88 E. Broadway Blvd. space called, I saw our destiny. In just 110 days, I sketched the vision, locked in the lease, and — with my own hands and heart — transformed an empty shell into Saigon Blossoms.
From blueprint to first light, I poured my heart into every detail — not from necessity, but from a profound love for what we were creating.
Our Bold Chapter
Today, I lead our family enterprise into its boldest chapter yet — guided by my brothers’ trust and our parents’ enduring values as my compass.
Saigon Blossoms is more than a restaurant; it’s living proof that legacy and innovation are not opposites, but partners. Here, tradition meets imagination — every dish and every thoughtful detail honors our Vietnamese roots while embracing Tucson’s vibrant future.
But this is only the beginning. Blossoms is more than a name — it’s the foundation of a vision in bloom. From dining to innovation, from hospitality to technology, a new family of concepts is quietly taking shape — each rooted in the same spirit born here: heritage, heart, and the courage to create something extraordinary.
